The Dinosaur Barbecue

One place I like to eat at all the time is The Dinosaur Barbecue.  They have the most friendliest waitresses and the best ribs  I've ever tasted. I like the way the macaroni is so cheesy and warm.
Theres never any issues when I order from here. I feel like my family and I will continue going to take out from here for a long time. We live right up the block from the restaurant so we visit very often. I have a favorite waitress named Barbara and she always has the chefs throw an extra rack of ribs on my families plates because we leave great tips and never give her a hard way to go. My family often celebrates birthdays and congratulations get togethers here. My aunts love to order something sweet to fill in their sweet tooth's after a large rib meal. Dinosaur barbecue is the best place to come and eat for any occasion. If you're celebrating success or mourning after a close by death and want to grab a plate of food, dinosaur bbq is the place to go. Also, this restaurant isn't only for eat in customers. Take out customers are more then welcomed to come grab a warm plate of ribs or anything they want on the menu. I love this restaurant and if anything was to happen to it I'm sure i may travel to the nearest dinosaur bbq just because they have amazing food and very welcoming customer service. There are many places with good food but non can compare because dinosaur Bbq has a very peaceful environment and is located next to a pier where a family can take a stroll or a couple can take a romantic walk after eating good at the dinosaur bbq.

Audio and me!

Audio means a lot to me. I love music which is a type of audio. I grew up listening to all types of music. My siblings and I would dance and compete with each other for who would dance the best. I think without audio life would be very incomplete. Audio comes in all types of sounds(beeps, sirens, voice, instrumentals and etc.) When I listen to R&B, which is one of my favorite types of genres, I feel relaxed and soothed. I couldn't imagine how my life would feel if everything was muted. Which is why I take advantage of my hearing because I know there are millions of deaf people in this world who yearn to un-mute the world. Music really can change someones mood. I know because when I'm mad I turn on my earphones loud and just zone off to my music which helps relieve my anger or stress. Also, music is a way people can express their emotions or feelings. I love that recent technology allows us to carry our favorite tunes on the go. As opposed to the past where people would only have one source of music which was a big old fashioned radio that would go in and out of service.

Digital Native Or Digital Immigrant?

I am a digital native. I know i am because my phone is always in my hands. I feel stressed when i do not have my phone. I love to text, i love to go on facebook and instagram. I have to check my newsfeed at least every 30 minutes. I think being a digital native impacts me in both positive and negative ways. First, it impacts me positively because i can use my knowledge the i have to use it when its needed. For an example i know a lot of websites that can benefit me when i need to look for inexpensive clothes and shoes. Also, i know how to identify reliable sources and unreliable sources.

Reflections on New York CIty

"New York is full of opportunity, culture, chaos, love and money" I agree with this statement made by a stranger because it is true to me. New York contains many helpful services. Also, not only does it have many helpful opportunities. You can come to New York with nothing, but if you strive and work hard you will eventually find the resources and help you need to start building something.

"New York is my home and full of diversity" I agree with this statement made by a stranger because new york has a bunch of different people of different races, and that have different personalities. I consider new york my home because I was born in raised in New York City and i've never traveled out side of New York State.

"New York will chew you up and spit you out" I agree with this statement made by a stranger because it is true. Most of the time you will often hear New York is a city of tough love. There are thousands of homeless people, thousands of unemployed people, and much more people battling hardships. I think of this scenario like its like a train once you hop on you better hold on so you do not fall off or you can wait for the next train and try to get on. Comparing this to a train helps me think about the people who are in the city and who are not struggling and are ambitious and are willing to help. I feel like that ambitiousness can be contagious (like hop on the train ) and for the struggling person to stay ambitious (like holding on), if you don't get to talk to some one theres always another chance (like waiting for the next train).

Response March 10th

I am a young intelligent woman. I live in harlem. I was born and raised there. I never traveled out of New York, but i would love to travel all around the world.

I like to shop, watch movies, and most importantly I love to read. My favorite novel is "To Kill A Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. I love hair, more specifically weaves/ hair extensions. I like to change my hair style at least 2 to 3 times in one month.I think i am addicted to the feeling of having long hair, or i'm just simply addicted to the image hair extensions give me.

I have one sister, and 2 brothers. I also have  2 nephews and 2 nieces. I live with my mom and my siblings.

A stranger would describe me as tall. They would most likely predict i'm 100% African American. They would realize i'm not really color coordinated, however i do not match all the time. At times when i see my self as ugly, or too tall, others oppose me and tell me i'm pretty and my height doesn't matter. I also see my self as unfit or too fat, and physically weak. However others see me as thick, and strong.
